Glenn Cannon

Before the ink was even dry on his High School Diploma, Glenn was performing anywhere he could in Western the DC, Baltimore, Pittsburgh area. Growing up in Western Maryland gave him fast and easy access to these cities and many more.

He and the members of his first band, Windowpane, all lived together in relative poverty, occupying a tiny house just outside his hometown. Each member working just enough to not starve so they could focus on the music.

The passage of time and circumstance led Glenn to relocate the band to central Florida. Sleeping on floors and owning little more than a guitar and the clothes on his back, Glenn ground it out there for a year before chance and an old friendship brought him out to Seattle.

“I remember crashing on a loading dock over at the University of Washington one night, cold and wet, and thinking ‘well, now I’m here in Seattle.’ “

The years that followed saw his band grow to tremendous popularity. Selling out massive venues and eventually doing large theater and arena tours with bands like Five Finger Death Punch and Queensryche. Glenn came to be well known, loved and respected in the Seattle music community. He worked tirelessly to connect bands and provide opportunities for his peers.

Glenn’s passion, talent and friendly, accessible, every man attitude carried him into the circles of many of his musical heroes.  He’s jammed with artists like Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains, Stephen Perkens of Janes Addiction and many more. From joining Stone Temple Pilots on stage at White River Amphitheater, to helping out Stone Gossard of Pearl Jam, Glenn’s drive and positive attitude has taken him everywhere.

Eventually the time came to close the door on Windowpane. Glenn immediately founded Seattle’s Bruiser Brody. This band featured an all-star lineup of regional heroes. The band was wildly successful, catching the eye of Atlantic Records. Sadly however, the project was short lived.

Going on to form The Damage Done and now simply performing as Glenn Cannon, the momentum has never stopped. A true journeyman musician who lives to play and plays to live. Glenn’s music crosses multiple generations and genres. From Muse to Greta Van Fleet, Hendrix to Zeppelin, Linkin Park to Stevie Ray Vaughn, Glenn’s influences all roll into one unique Rock, Pop and Blues based musical package.

His only goal is to bring people together through his music. One life, one love, one soul, one mind, one heart, one humankind.
